Healing Therapies
Reiki: Usui & Angelic
Reiki is a system of natural healing that channels Qi, or “universal energy,” through the therapist’s palms to balance your energy field and promote deep healing. This technique works holistically, addressing blockages or trauma on the physical, energy, emotional, and mental planes.
Ayurvedic Baby Massage
Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, baby massage is a sacred Indian tradition that soothes the body, calms the spirit, and offers emotional benefits to a growing child. This nurturing practice reduces stress, supports healthy sleep, improves skin health and strengthens the parent-child bond. Suitable for babies from 4 weeks old, it offers a beautiful way to care for and connect with your little one.
COURSES & SPECIAL EVENTS
SOLSTICE & EQUINOX PRACTICES
Our seasonal rituals are invitations to honour and celebrate nature’s cycles at the winter and summer solstice and the autumn and spring equinox. Each practice is unique, offering a nurturing and transformative space to realign with nature’s rhythm, restore balance, and reconnect with your true self. These ever-evolving gatherings are designed to help you pause, reflect, and find harmony amidst life’s changes.
Find out about the upcoming Winter Solstice event.
YOGA NIDRA & REIKI HEALING
Benefit from the deeply restorative power of four hands working together to guide and support your healing. This is a gentle antidote to the season’s imbalances that can help you release, restore, and let your energy glow and grow. Each session is unique and attuned to the group’s collective energy.
GRIEF WELLNESS
Grief and sorrow are inevitable. They enter our lives in many ways, through significant losses like death and divorce or through the cumulative losses that occur in daily life. Taking the time to work through our grief or creating space to transform through our experienced sorrow can be difficult. Suitable for those navigating their own loss or supporting someone grieving, this course offers the time and tools to find healing and transform through grief.
POSTNATAL RESTORATIVE & WELLNESS
This intimate course supports new parents and their babies through the postpartum journey with holistic practices rooted in Yoga and Ayurveda. Tailored to your needs, it helps restore energy, balance, and strength while deepening the parent-child bond. With additional support and advice from Björkin’s expert midwives, it’s suitable for babies aged 6 weeks to 12 months (or until very mobile).
PRENATAL YOGA & WELLNESS
This prenatal suryashtanga practice is designed to help participants cultivate the attitudes, emotions and energy needed to value the process of pregnancy and prepare for childbirth. Breath and movement techniques will focus on increasing awareness, strength and endurance particularly around the pelvic region. Relaxation and meditation will help transcend the physical body to a state of pure consciousness and connect to the energy of love and creation. This class is suitable for women from 14 weeks pregnant.

Teachers
Jite Brume
Jite, a Yoga teacher, Reiki healer, practising architect, and landscape consultant, has shared Yoga and meditation since 2008. Her journey spans Africa, Europe, and Asia, where she has cultivated deep connections with diverse cultures, environments, and the ageless wisdom of Yoga through learning, teaching and creative projects.
Jite Brume is an architect and landscape consultant and has been practicing Yoga since 2000 and Reiki since 2005.
In 2002 Jite met Stephane Chollet in Paris and has been his student ever since, deepening her understanding through ongoing research on the science of Yoga in Europe and Asia. She began teaching Yoga in 2008 and became a fully certified Surya World teacher in 2013. Jite is a professional Reiki healer and achieved the 3rd degree of the Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho (Usui System of Natural Healing) in 2009 under Reiki master Nita Mocanu.
Interested in the harmonious integration of the natural environment and people, Jite studied with Geoff Lawton at the Permaculture Research Institute, Australia and received her permaculture design certificate in January 2013.
Jite is a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance UK.
Since 2002, she has studied with Stéphane Chollet, the creator of Suryashtanga Yoga, gaining profound insights into how its traditional roots meet modern life’s challenges. A certified Surya World teacher since 2013, Jite has delved into perinatal and perimenopausal wellness and explored the interplay of energy, mind, and consciousness through Vedic science and the integrative psychology of psychosynthesis.
As a professional Reiki healer trained in Angelic and Usui traditions across France, Japan, and the UK, Jite integrates gentle energy work with her Yoga practice. Her architectural background and permaculture studies add a rich dimension to her teaching, weaving together the physical, energetic, and environmental aspects of wellbeing.
Jite’s work is a fusion of disciplines—an invitation to explore the threads connecting inner and outer landscapes and a celebration of balance, harmony, and the profound beauty of life.
Feedback from students
Prenatal
« I greatly appreciated the Prenatal Yoga and Wellness course taught by Jite. She created a welcoming and calm atmosphere not only to practice some yoga but also to learn and reflect on how other dimensions of our constitutions and bodies can assist in a healthy birth. I personally gained a lot from Jite’s kind instruction. She went above and beyond as an instructor and got to know us. She even leant me a book from her personal library to help me with certain questions I had about the birthing process. It was immensely helpful. »

Yoga Nidra
« I enjoyed the opportunity to just relax. I usually find meditation or visualisation hard because I’m so hypersensitive to everything (sounds, touch, etc) and it’s hard for me to just not move. But I did get there on Sunday, so thanks! »
Fanny Sissoko, December 2021
Meditation
« Thank you again so much for the wonderful meditation course. I feel like I really learned a lot and although I have done meditation before I never did it that intensively and I also didn’t feel so much benefit from it before. This has changed with your course and I am very excited to practice more at home. »
Friederike Boerner, November 2021
Reiki
« The Reiki healing was an amazing journey of self-observing my own thoughts and feelings and spreading loving kindness through my body… It was a very powerful exploration of my own energies. Thank you for taking care of my energies and my entire body. My soul has been treated with love and trust by you. »
Lenka Brndiarova, March 2021
Postnatal
« I am so grateful for the course that you held and so lucky to have had the chance to join. It came at a perfect time and wow what a difference it is making to my life. I am enjoying so much reading more about Ayurveda, practising meditation and getting to know myself better. That course was a blessing for me and I hope many mothers will experience the same. The content was so good, you taught it very well and made it fairly easy to understand. »
