Private Meditation Classes

with Stéphane Chollet

October 2026 to January 2027 session · online · in small groups of four students

Objective: Anchoring Your Practice

Until now taught one-to-one, Stéphane Chollet’s private classes are now open to small groups of four students. This collective dimension creates a synergy and momentum that individual practice cannot offer on its own, while keeping the personal attention that private classes are known for. With twenty-five years of teaching experience, Stéphane is able to perceive each student’s inner situation, then find the right words and the right method to guide them.

Four students, brought together by the teaching team, who stay together for the whole session.

Twice a month
Classes, previously held once a month, now take place twice a month so that everyone can truly anchor their practice.

A cycle of six classes
A commitment long enough to lay solid foundations and feel the first benefits.

An Inclusive Method, Nourished by Many Traditions

At the heart of these classes is a method that draws on knowledge from living traditions, which Stéphane received directly from masters in both the East and the West:

Chinese internal arts | Japanese, Thai and Tibetan Buddhism | Yoga | Pranayama | Hindu meditation | Buddhist meditation | Western approach | Psychosynthesis

Understanding the Subtle Anatomy of the Human Being

Stéphane’s approach rests on an understanding of what is called subtle anatomy: the makeup of our whole being, from the physical body to what lies beyond it. The yoga tradition describes it as a whole made of several interdependent levels, from the densest to the most subtle.

Understand, Then Practise

From this understanding of our potential for inner development comes a sequence of practices linked by a rigorous logic. It supports the student at every stage of their inner evolution, with clearly visible effects in their outer life.

Each class therefore combines the why and the how: you understand what you practise, and you practise what you have understood. The aim is to establish a practice tailored to you and suited to your situation, one you can sustain and develop over time.

Stéphane Chollet

Drawn early on to the internal arts and to the great questions explored by Eastern traditions, Stéphane Chollet left the West at nineteen to meet those who hold their key. His path took him to India, China, the United States, Canada, Thailand and Mexico, to masters of wisdom from whom he received direct teaching, from person to person, as tradition requires.

India remains at the heart of this journey: years of intense practice in the silence of Himalayan caves, the discipline of Tummo, then long years of meditation in an ashram in the south of the country. These experiences, rare in both their length and their depth, gave him an intimate knowledge of what the texts describe.

More than thirty-five years of research gave rise to Suryashtanga, his method of yoga and meditation, and later to the Surya-World collective. He is known for making the subtle clear, for connecting traditions with one another, and for speaking to everyone, whatever their level.
