A Call for Solidarity - Nepal Emergency
Together, let's support the survivors
On 26 August 2026, the collapse of a glacier on the China–Nepal border triggered a mudslide that destroyed entire villages. Close to 93,000 people have been affected, and the human toll remains severe. In the spirit of karma yoga that guides all our projects, Surya World is centralising donations from its community and transferring them directly to the Nepalese government’s emergency fund — a way to act quickly without creating imbalances on the ground. From immediate relief (water, food, shelter, medical care) through to reconstruction.
We are fortunate to have a trusted contact in Nepal who is assessing needs in real time, allowing us to adapt our support as the situation evolves. Every contribution, however modest, makes a difference.

From reforestation and permaculture gardening to supporting orphanage schools and organizing aid for communities affected by floods or earthquakes, our projects reflect the spirit of karma yoga—selfless service in action.
